I was born and raised in Lexington, KY. After I graduated from Tates Creek High School in 1997, I joined the United States Navy. The military taught me discipline, respect, and pride. I was given the opportunity to travel all over Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Pacific United States. During service, I began working on my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. At the end of my 9 years of service, I moved back to my hometown to raise my son, and completed my degree in December 2011. I was presented with a wonderful opportunity to learn massage therapy in September 2013. I successfully completed 720 hours of training, including 120 hours of internship at Lexington Healing Arts Academy. Immediately following graduation and licensing, I completed and additional 100 hours training in Hospital Based Massage Therapy, specializing in Cancer Massage in September 2014. This is truly where God wants me and continues to show me new things everyday through this beautiful work.

Lucy’s journey as a massage therapist started at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy, where she learned a wide range of techniques from myofascial release, trigger point therapy to deep tissue work. That training added to her deep appreciation for the body's ability to heal when given the right kind of support.
She has blended those techniques with her herbalism practice, bringing the wisdom of plants into her sessions through wildcrafted, homemade body oils. These oils are made with devotion and intention, adding another level of care throughout sessions.

Sarah has been a licensed massage therapist since 2010. She attended Lexington Healing Arts Academy where she's now an instructor as well. She moved from Michigan in 1988, and now calls Kentucky home. She has 3 adult children, one that is following in her mother's footsteps as a massage therapist that works with University of Kentucky Athletics. Sarah enjoys working with people on their journey to a healthy functioning body. She has been trained in traditional Swedish, deep tissue, Lomi Lomi and cranial sacral therapies. She will be able to take on VA referrals as well!
